ZTE has unveiled its 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), smart home, smart education, big video, and terminal services at China Mobile Global Partners Conference 2017. ZTE, in collaboration with China Mobile, focused on six major 5G services at this event

Nokia Networks and China Mobile Research Institute (CMRI) have announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on their strategic cooperation in the evolution and development of 5G.

Alcatel-Lucent  will deploy its Rapport™ communications software with  China Mobile, enabling it to simplify and consolidate video, voice and messaging services onto a single platform.

China Mobile recently completed the commercial verification of LTE TDD inter-band 3CC Carrier Aggregation (CA) using Huawei's commercial base station and Qualcomm Technologies’ commercial terminal based on the Qualcomm® Snapdragon 810 processor with X10 LTE.

ZTE has announced successful demonstration of time-division long term evolution (TD-LTE) downlink three-carrier aggregation (3x CA) in collaboration with China Mobile and Qualcomm Technologies.

At the ITU Telecom World 2014, Nokia Networks, Ooredoo Qatar and China Mobile showcased a speed of 4.1 Gbps over TDD-FDD LTE. Supported by the Global TD-LTE Initiative, the speed was achieved by combining TDD- and FDD-LTE spectrums and aggregating 10 carriers with 200 MHz bandwidth.

Huawei has completed its first LTE TDD Easy Macro commercial deployment in Beijing with China Mobile. According to Huawei , this newly improved LTE TDD Easy Macro improves the download rate by 40% for outdoor users and 180% for indoor users.

China Mobile plans to build more than 500,000 4G base stations by the end of 2014. Operator will enable 4G international roaming services in another 50 countries or regions, reports Xinhua. 

China Mobile has fully tested and certified Ericsson's M7450 5-mode modem chipset for use in China Mobile's network. Ericsson's M7450 covers five access technologies: TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA and GSM.  The LTE Advanced multimode modem targets smartphones, tablets and other connected devices.

Huawei and China Mobile have verified multiple core TD-LTE-Advanced technologies including FDD/TDD Carrier Aggregation, MSA, 256QAM, inter-site CoMP, and MU-MIMO in a field test conducted at Chengdu Electronic Technology University.
