As the market is taking off driven by early LTE efforts, LTE revenues have reached over $ 2.1 Billion, up from $ 0.6 Billion in 2010, says a report from Mind Commerce. As of Q4'2011 the North America region accounts for over 42 % of the total LTE Infrastructure revenue.

Despite faster operator commitments for LTE deployment, HSPA investments are not slowing down. Confirming that HSPA+ is quickly expanding, GSA reports that a total of 241 operators have committed to HSPA+ network deployments, representing an increase of over 62% in the past year. HSPA+ networks are being deployed in 106 countries, 39 countries more than a year ago.
