Here is a list of operators who have either launched LTE services or have committed for it. Commitment level includes ongoing LTE trials, intentions to trial, deploy, migrate, etc. This list is not complete and is frequently updated, check back again for more details.

Antel

Uruguay’s communications service provider Antel has rolled out commercial 4G LTE wireless network in country in December, 2011. The initial deployment is done in the area of Punta del Este and Maldonado, then will spread to other areas.

AT&T

AT&T launched commercial LTE services in September 2011, in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.

Bharti Airtel

Bharti Airtel has launched LTE services in India in April, 2012 using TD-LTE.  Airtel had bagged BWA spectrum in four telecom circles Kolkata, Maharastra, Punjab and Karnataka for Rs.3,314.36 crore in 2010.

China Mobile

China Mobile the world's top mobile carrier is expected to roll out a state-of-the-art mobile network based on new LTE technology as soon as 2011.

Chunghwa Telecom

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) is currently experimenting with LTE technology and planning to build a long term evolution (LTE) network in 2011.

Etisalat

Etisalat is expected to commercially launch the Long Term Evolution (LTE) 4G technology in Middle East by end of 2010. 

Interdnestrcom

The operator Interdnestrcom (Tiraspol,Transnistria) in tandem with the Alcatel-Lucent have carried out the project of 4G LTE wireless network building.On December, 29 of 2011, operator made the first test call by using LTE technology in 800 MHz band.

KDDI

KDDI is expected to launch LTE as early as 2011. KDDI aims the nationwide LTE based service at the early stage. 96.5% population coverage ratio by the end of FY2015.3 is expected.

MetroPCS is first mobile operator to launch commercial LTE services in the United States. Launched on September 21, 2010, currently LTE is available in Las Vegas.
