in Technology, 4M Wireless, LTE, Manufacturer

4M Wireless designs and develops leading edge products to enable fourth generation mobile wireless based on the latest 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) standards.

Our products cover software licensing solutions for the core of next generation high speed mobile devices and advanced test solutions for wireless infrastructure vendors. 4M Wireless is the industry leader in LTE protocol stack software for mobile devices and offers a portfolio of base station test applications.

The 4M Wireless PS100 LTE Protocol Stack is a 3GPP Release 8 compliant implementation of the LTE protocol stack for User Equipment (UE) terminals. It consists of a fully optimized Layer 2, Layer 3 and NAS LTE protocol software enabling the highest uplink and downlink data rates.

The PS100 architecture is designed for flexibility and ease of integration on different hardware platforms and operating systems. The protocol stack implementation enables optimal power consumption and processor utilization.

Commercial LTE chip sets and terminals

The 4M Wireless LTE stack caters to the ultra low power and low cost consumer devices market for LTE including multi-mode wireless handsets, data cards and USB wireless modems as well as embedded devices for laptops, Ultra Mobile PCs and desktops.

Companies new to the LTE space will be able to integrate the 4M Wireless LTE terminal stack solution with their existing physical layer to provide a quick entry to the LTE and UMTS spaces. Such companies will quickly see the benefits of the PS100's low power consumption and small memory footprint. The unique multi-target architecture of the LTE software also provides them with a flexible and bespoke solution that can be tailored to fit a wide variety of baseband chipsets.

The LTE protocol stack is fully supported by a suite of advanced development, test and verification tools to enable rapid product development. 4M Wireless also provides dedicated support and customization services to assist with porting, integration and end-to-end LTE system verification from lab tests to field trials.
